Bishamon Festival and National Crying Sumo Tournament
A unique Shinto ritual that has been handed down since ancient times at Mikumano Shrine in Towacho to pray for the growth of children.
The wrestler carries a child between 6 months and 18 months of age onto the ring, and when they bring their faces close together while shouting "Yo-yo-yo," the first one to cry loses.
