Mt. Hayachine, one of the 100 famous mountains of Japan, opens to the public on the second Sunday of June every year, and is crowded with many climbers from inside and outside the prefecture.

At the inner shrine of Hayachine Shrine at the summit, the Hayachine Kagura Dance is dedicated.

■ Mountain entrance ceremony (rain or shine)…8:00 Odagoe trailhead ■ Summit safety prayer ceremony…10:50 Mt. Hayachine summit (※In the event of bad weather, the ceremony will be held at the Odagoe trailhead following the mountain entrance ceremony)
