Narushima washi paper making experience

Narushima Washi paper has been handed down for over 350 years. It is a simple Japanese paper made by mixing the bark of the paper mulberry with sheets of the Japanese deutzia japonica. Its unique texture, which cannot be found in mass-produced paper, is its charm, and at the Narushima Washi Craft Museum, you can try your hand at making your own original work.

Experience details
Experience time: Approximately 1 hour
① Place one colored piece of "kozo" in a bowl.
② Pour into the frame.
③ Make paper by rocking it back and forth and left and right.
④ Repeat steps ① to ③ twice using ingredients of different colors.
⑤ Write with your finger.
⑥Once dry it's done.
