Nanbu Sake Master Brewer Museum

This is an exhibition facility that preserves and passes on the traditional culture of sake brewing by the Nanbu Toji.

The building itself is a historic and culturally valuable storehouse that was dismantled and restored from an ancient sake brewery.

Inside the museum, sake brewing equipment, including a 2m diameter brewing vat, is on display, and videos are presented that explain the history of the Nanbu Toji brewers and sake brewing in an easy-to-understand manner.

The building also has a sake tasting corner (fee required) where you can enjoy tasting a variety of sakes.
In addition, the sake you sample is also available for purchase at the adjacent "Sakashokan."
