Coin lockers

Japanese stations, large commercial facilities, and tourist attractions generally have lockers for storing luggage. The eastern lowlands across the Kitakami River from Hanamaki have a strong inland basin climate, with large temperature differences between day and night, especially in summer, and relatively warm winters with little snowfall. On the other hand, the Ou foothills in the west are dominated by a cold and snowy climate, and although there is snow from December to March, it is less than on the Japan Sea side because it is blocked by the Ou foothills. There is enough snow to enjoy snow sports, but it does not interfere with daily life. The most comfortable periods are from May to June and from September to October.
